Palace Resorts accelerates global expansion with new openings in the Caribbean

With a strong track record in the luxury hospitality sector, Palace Resorts has established itself as one of the most influential brands within The Palace Company, the hotel group leading the all-inclusive segment across the Americas and Europe. Its strategic approach to international growth positions the Caribbean as a key investment focus, with new openings that expand its presence in high-potential markets and raise the standard for premium travel experiences. The company’s steady development reflects a consistent commitment to innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence in every new property it launches.

Moon Palace The Grand – Punta Cana: Palace Resorts enters the Dominican Republic

One of the most significant milestones in the expansion plan is the upcoming opening of Moon Palace The Grand – Punta Cana, the first Palace Resorts property in the Dominican Republic. Scheduled for spring 2026, the resort will be located on an exclusive oceanfront site spanning more than 297 acres in the prestigious Bávaro area. The new development will feature two 18-story towers, a world-class spa, a next-generation water park, a diverse high-end dining offering, family-friendly recreational areas, and an “eco-signature” golf course designed by Greg Norman, conceived under principles of environmental care and sustainability.

The entry into the Dominican market marks a strategic move that broadens Palace Resorts’ geographic reach and showcases the brand’s ability to compete in globally renowned destinations. The resort’s design, services, and infrastructure are aligned with the highest standards in luxury tourism, further strengthening the company’s reputation as a benchmark for premium all-inclusive experiences.

Expansion, leadership, and the future vision of The Palace Company

The opening of Moon Palace The Grand – Punta Cana is part of a broader international growth strategy driven by The Palace Company, which in recent years has expanded its presence through developments in Mexico, Jamaica, Italy, and the Maldives. Complementary brands such as Le Blanc Spa Resort, Moon Palace, and Baglioni Hotels & Resorts form a high-end hospitality ecosystem tailored to a wide range of traveler profiles. Within this structure, Palace Resorts remains a central pillar, with a focus on accessible luxury, integrated experiences, and an operational model adaptable to global markets.

This evolution has been accompanied by renewed leadership. In April 2025, Gibrán Chapur assumed the role of CEO of The Palace Company, tasked with accelerating international expansion, enhancing brand synergies, and strengthening the group’s global positioning. The leadership vision is focused on diversifying destinations, optimizing internal processes, and consolidating a management model built on quality, personalization, and sustainability.

The company continues to develop new resorts in fast-growing tourist destinations. Its consistent focus on architectural design, technological integration, fine dining, and personalized hospitality has positioned the brand as a key player in the international luxury tourism industry. Through developments such as Moon Palace The Grand – Punta Cana, Palace Resorts reaffirms its commitment to shaping the future of hospitality and delivering exceptional experiences in some of the world’s most competitive destinations.
