Enrique Rodríguez, a name synonymous with tenacity and entrepreneurial vision, is the driving force behind a successful automotive services conglomerate and innovative ventures in the food and wellness sectors.
Enrique’s automotive business primarily focuses on providing services for major car dealerships in Miami, including GPS tracking, car washing, and window tinting. Beyond this, Enrique is deeply involved in developing two significant new projects.
The first is Flow Cookies, a cookie factory in which he collaborates with Chef BenEcheto, recognized as one of the world’s foremost experts in desserts and cookies. Flow Cookies specializes in a recipe featuring innovative flavors and small sizes, perfect for enjoying multiple units.
The second project is the Elite Wellness Club, a Miami-based wellness center dedicated to helping the community prevent sexually transmitted diseases and offering crucial mental health support.
This venture, undertaken in partnership with Carlos Juárez, a prominent public relations professional and his co-host on the “Open Closet Channel” podcast, is exciting for Enrique due to its potential to support individuals with diverse needs and promote healthy living.
“It’s a very nice project because it supports people with different problems and helps them lead healthy lives,” says Enrique.
In the artistic realm, Enrique continues his work with the digital television channel LA KW, where he has been for two years, and consistently expands his presence on social media.
“I believe that the main reason for starting a business should always be to seek stability for yourself and your loved ones,” Enrique states.
Enrique’s motivation to become an entrepreneur is deeply rooted in a significant personal event. At just 16 years old, his mother’s breast cancer diagnosis underscored the urgent need to achieve financial stability to support her.
This impetus led him to explore the automotive world. Recognizing the need to protect vehicles from the sun and heat, he identified an opportunity in window tint installation and sales, marking the beginning of his entrepreneurial journey.
At 23 years old, Enrique established a robust company in Venezuela, supported by a well-trained team. His strong communication and public relations skills were instrumental in securing contracts with major automotive brands like Toyota, Chevrolet, and Hyundai.
Once established in this sector, Enrique’s vision propelled him to diversify into other fields, including locksmithing, food manufacturing, and even representing a cosmetics brand in Venezuela.
However, Enrique’s greatest challenge and, simultaneously, his most significant achievement, was his relocation to the United States six years ago after the difficult situation in Venezuela led to the gradual dissolution of the companies Enrique had built.
Through a step-by-step strategy, Enrique successfully replicated his initial approach and today manages a thriving automotive services company in the United States, which has enabled him to provide employment opportunities for many talented individuals.
“Today, I believe that innovation — the market is certainly saturated with options, but I think that is precisely where the challenge lies; that is, what can we do that is innovative or different, what can we do that makes us stand out, or what can we offer that satisfies a new need,” Enrique explains.
For Enrique, diversifying his ventures across three distinct areas—automotive services, food, and wellness—is a crucial risk mitigation strategy. The philosophy behind this diversification ensures that a crisis in one sector would not impact the others, providing greater stability. He asserts that once one masters the management of a single business, it becomes easier to manage others, regardless of their differing fields.
Enrique particularly emphasizes the importance of mindset in the business world. He highlights the essential nature of a disciplined mind, nurtured by a daily routine, and stresses how open-mindedness—being receptive to listening and learning—is key to identifying emerging opportunities in one’s environment.
“It’s the key to everything. A healthy, clear, and focused mind is vital to achieving your goals,” says Enrique.
Enrique offers practical advice: research, review, and reflect on your strengths and talents. Based on this premise, he suggests experimenting with ideas until the most feasible one is identified. Once found, the key lies in focus, perseverance, and ironclad discipline.
Enrique also underscores the importance of preparation, noting that some entrepreneurs are unwilling to sacrifice, learn, or conduct thorough research, aspects he considers vital.
“I believe that perseverance is key to success. Few people have patience, and often give up quickly without giving the idea a chance to develop,” Enrique emphasizes, but notes, “Success is subjective; perhaps what is success for me is not success for you. I seek peace and happiness so for me, success is to be at peace with your body, soul, and mind.”
